​Inside the church, you find Reverend Pearson. He’s preparing his Sermon for next week’s service. He’s only just arrived back at the church after meeting with the other members of the village Invasion Committee.

 

Reverend Pearson not only leads his congregation in church each week, he’s also a member of the Alton Haypun Home Guard. He takes his responsibilities very seriously. He’s very glad you’ve arrived.

 

A few minutes ago, whilst putting a file back in the cupboard at the bottom of the church tower, he discovered a scrunched up piece of paper lying on one of the stone steps. He’s read it and can’t make any sense of it. Perhaps you can solve the mystery of the strange note?
