On Monday we're visiting the site of a WW2 Anti-Aircraft Battery in Cornwall. Although the site is overgrown in places, it's a really good example of a Heavy Anti-Aircraft Battery and we look forward to sharing the experience with you. We'll be blogging and vlogging this visit, so check back to find out what we discovered.
Research is still ongoing into our video about Churchill's secret underground army. However, this is progressing well and we hope to get something online very soon. As with a lot of historical research, some of the most interesting stories take time before they are fully uncovered. The story we want to tell is no different. Almost all the pieces of the puzzle are now in place but we're trying to confirm certain details so we can present the facts about a particular event, rather than suggestions. This highlights the many feelings associated with historical research - frustration mixed with anticipation and excitement as the completion of a great story hangs on being able to confirm one crucial piece of information.
Have a great weekend!
